Philippines

The Philippines has become an extremely productive field for EIM.  In 2006, EIM partnered with "Here's Hope Ministries" under the direction of Missionary Don Newsom to begin a supplemental feeding program in rural and impoverished areas as well as local Barangay's on the Island of Negros and Panay.  Over the last two years EIM and HHM have fed over 30,000 children, pregnant mother, and lactating mothers.  By reaching out to the country's most malnourished children we have seen great success with our feeding program.  In 2007 we were able to see 47% recovery rate among those suffering from malnutrition! 

Not only are we providing food but we have also been able to ship over 7,000 Shepherd Bags ^TM to the Philippines as well.  EIM over the last 5 years has conducted several crusades and Pastoral conferences throughout the Philippines. 

At the present time Kurt Goodwin is serving in the Philippines as Mission Evangelist.  Kurt is enrolled in Bible College and conducting Basketball camps and seminars in and around Bacolod, Negros Occidental.  It is Kurt's plans to construct a facility where basketball camps as well as AWANA can be conducted.
