THE CALL TO GO

In 1998, Bro. Rocky Goodwin, founder of EIM, felt the Holy Spirit calling him to step away from pastoring full time and take a faith walk with Him. Having served as a missionary in his early years of ministry, Rocky felt God calling him back to his first love with an emphasis on evangelism. After a trip to Ghana, West Africa, he was confident that this was where God was leading him and Evangelistic International Ministries was born.

Since its conception, we have sought to meet the needs of people around the world in three specific areas: physical, emotional, and spiritual. Our efforts to meet the physical and emotional needs of some of the world’s most impoverished communities has allowed us to give them what they need most, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have fed thousands in Honduras, Ghana, and the Philippines through our feeding programs and gifted over 500,000 children with the Shepherd’s Bag Ministry™. With every opportunity to meet a physical need, we have been given the privilege to proclaim the good news of the Gospel. In these two areas of ministry alone we have witnessed God’s saving power in countless lives! Through our Pastoral Training Ministry, we have equipped pastors in remote villages of Tanzania, Nepal, Ghana, and the Philippines and have seen their churches grow and the Gospel taking root among these beautiful people!

This only skims the surface of what EIM is doing around the world!

It is through the faithful and generous giving of church and individual partners that we are able to fulfill the calling God has placed on our lives. As we have pursued godly stewardship of our resources, He has allowed us to do more than we ever dreamed! We praise Him for his faithful provisions.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

WE BELIEVE:

That there is one living and true God, the creator of the universe.
Scripture to be God’s inerrant word, complete in the Old and New Testament.
God created all things for His own pleasure and glory.
That although man was created in the image of God, he fell through sin, and that image was marred.
In the virgin birth of Jesus Christ.
That salvation is by grace through faith alone in Jesus Christ and that the redemptive work was done when Jesus paid the price for mankind’s sin on the Cross of Calvary.
In the Local Church and that ministry should be done through the organism (THE BODY) that Christ Himself established.

COUNTRIES WE SERVE

God has taken us all over the world these past 20 years! From the jungles along the Amazon River to Mount Everest and even the Serengeti Plains of Africa. God has allowed us to see this beautiful world and the people He created! His Gospel is being proclaimed and hearts are coming to faith! Praise God! He is on the move!
